The Awaire service is a peer to peer music network. It is the backend which collects real time data such as the current song, location, and music library from each Aura.

GROUPIES
Awaire has added a way for you to bookmark other users for quick access to their music library. We have called this feature your Groupies list.

Tune in Share experiences as well as learn new music by tuning in to what other people are listening to.

Browse If you decide you’d like to see their whole library, you may do so as well. Just click on the browse button and you will see what they have. If you see something you like, you can stream it straight from their Aura.

Add Rockstar Take your Groupie relationship to the next level and open up a whole new set of features by making them a Rockstar.

ROCKSTARS
When you decide to take your relationship to the next level, Awaire will be right there for you. In addition to the Groupie features, there are even more ways for you to interact with Rockstars.

Location Find the exact locations of your friends with a simple toggle switch.

Tune in Like what your friend's listening to? Just tune in and stream it directly from his Aura.

Invite Invite a friend to share a musical experience with you. Invite multiple friends to create a virtual party. This is a great way to feel close with friends while not being in the same physical location.

Games Play exciting location-based musical games with your friends.

BILLBOARD
Another way of connecting to the world is by checking out the billboard. The billboard is the big list of every song being listened to on every Aura in the world at any given moment in time. You can see what the most popular song in the world is right now, or sort by certain criteria and see what the least popular Hip-Hop song in Romania is. The billboard is a great place to sample new music, as well as add new people to your groupies list. If you'd like to listen to a song on the list, simply select that song and see who is listening to it currently. You can then stream it straight from their Aura.

OPEN MIC
Awaire's OPENmic feature gives users' an opportunity to make thier voice heard. Now everyone can become their own Radio Station. Tune in to people, and places. Customize by Genre. The Top 40 has never been so real.

People Awaire allows you to see who around you also has an Aura. Click on the map and you will see other users in your vicinity color coded to reflect their glow. You can tune in, browse thier libraries, and add them to your Groupies list.

Places In addition to tuning in to other users, you may wish to tune in to a particular area. Let's say you are interested in getting a taste of what Bucharest is listening to. By zooming in on the map, you set boundaries for the Awaire system to grab its music from. Awaire will take a random playlist from every Aura which is within the boundaries shown on the screen. You can even customize your playlist by Genre.

Closed Mic Awaire gives you the option to close your mic off to the rest of the world. A closed mic means that no other user will be able to stream music from you, browse your list, or add you to their groupies list. Your Aura stops glowing as well. The only thing that remains on is your contribution to the Billboard.

Privacy Awaire respects the privacy of its users. Each user is assigned a rotating IP address. This is done to protect users' identities. The map view will only display IP addresses and not stage names. Stage names are only revealed when a user has accepted a Groupie request. Locations are only revealed when users become Rockstars.
